As a student in AC's Electronic Systems Technology program, you will learn how to perform a variety of routine tasks to assist with the maintenance and installation of electronic systems.
You will learn:
- AC and DC circuits
- solid state devices and circuits
- microprocessors
- fiber optics
- quality control
The Electronic System Technology graduate can find entry-level employment installing, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining electronic systems in many business and industrial settings. Many of our graduates go on to work at places like IBM, Compaq Computers and LEK Technologies, Inc.
The EST grad can also transfer to a four-year university to continue his or her education and earn a Bachelor's Degree.
An Associate of Applied Science degree can be earned in two years or less. Certificates of Completion take 30 to 41 semester hours.
