Welding

Amarillo College's Welding program offers a Basic Certificate consisting of four classes that leads into an Advanced Certificate of an additional four classes.

You will learn:

• blueprint reading and sketching
• layout and fabrication
• shielded metal arc welding
• pipe welding
• gas metal arc welding
• gas tungsten arc welding

When students have completed the advanced classes, they will be ready to go out into the work world with the confidence and knowledge that they can weld to American Welding Society qualifications.

All classes are offered for Academic credic or Adult Continuing Education. Students can attend morning or evening classes.
