Basic Irrigation Training

Amarillo College offers a Basic Irrigation Training course through its Occupational Education program.

You will learn:

• irrigation history
• current trends
• principles and hydraulics
• components
• design
• water conservation
• installation and maintenance
• Texas irrigator rules and regulations

Students will receive proper training and tools to successfully pass the Texas State Irrigators Exam.  This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
