After completing AC's Pharmacy Technology program, you can become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by successfully taking the national certification examination.
You will learn:
- pharmacy law
- computerized drug delivery systems
- pharmaceutical mathematics
- intravenous admixture
- sterile compounding
- pharmacotherapy and disease process
Applications for the Amarillo College program are accepted year-round and processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The program begins each fall semester and accepts 30 students each year.
