Nondestructive Testing

Nondestructive Testing

Nondestructive testing is a growing technology whereby the structural integrity of materials is evaluated by various testing methods.

You will learn:

  • various forms of testing--magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, visual, radiographic, etc.
  • blueprint reading
  • business computer applications
  • technical writing
  • welding inspection
  • radiation safety
  • welding
  • thermography and vibration analysis
  • statistical process control

As a student in AC's Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation program, you will get a quality, hands-on education.  AC trains students for entry-level positions or to upgrade current skills to be in-line with American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) requirements.

As a student in the Nondestructive Testing program, you can earn an Associate's degree or one of three Certificates of Completion. Evening classes are available and you can begin your studies in either the fall or spring semester.
