As a student in AC's Automotive Technology program, you will have a quality, hands-on education--whether you are a beginning student or retraining for a new carreer. The goal is to make sure you feel comfortable in your knew knowledge and to make sure you can secure a profitable place in the workforce.
You will learn:
- automotive suspension and steering
- engine repair
- heating and air conditioning
- brake systems
- drive train and axle
- electronic controls
- engine performance analysis
The Automotive Technology program prepares students for the ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification exams.
You can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree or Certificate of Completion in Automotive Technology. A separate certificate is also available in Power Train systems.
